Dr. Wayne Castagna is the founder and lead optometrist at Tolland Eye Care (est. 2007). He has 29 years of experience providing comprehensive eye care to patients in Tolland, CT and surrounding communities. Throughout his career, Dr. Castagna has built a reputation for delivering personalized, high-quality vision care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Dr. Castagna completed his Bachelor of Science from Drexel University, Philadelphia, PA in 1987. Fulfilling a desire to work with people on a personal level, he enrolled at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Philadelphia, PA and graduated in 1997.
Dr. Castagna performs comprehensive vision care for glasses and contact lenses, along with managing patients with glaucoma, diabetes, age-related macular degeneration, and cataracts. He specializes in treating patients with dry eyes and allergies, as well as hard-to-fit contact lenses.
